|
For the healthy and the sound development
of the students, the institutes encourages various sports activities.
A sport serves as a very good means of recreating for the modem civilization,
which is becoming increasingly prone to psychological stress of modern
day living and work condition. For the proper utilization of leisure
time college have a vast lush green play` fields measuring 245X245
meter athletic track, hockey ground, basketball ground volleyball,
lawn tennis & badminton. The cemented courts are available. Indoor
games like carom, table tennis, and chess are available in each hostel.
The college is also going for indoor stadium and also has the full-fledged
gymnasium and has plans to have a swimming pool very soon.

| Depttof Physical Education helps the students
by encouraging them to participate in different games and sports of PTU
inter college sports competitions. This year SBSCET college teams of Hockey,Footbal,Table Tennis,Lawn Tennis, Basket Ball and Yoga has showed their strengths in variuos competitions. The YOGA team (Boys) stood first and Girls team stood second in PTU inter-college YOGA competitions |

The college also provides the facilities
for the games hand ball & hockey. There are two cemented courts
one for basketball and other for lawn tennis, in addition of this a
400 m track is also available and there is facilities for all athletic
events. There is also a court for badminton. The sports material for
these events have already being procured
