INTRODUCTION
|
|
The College, with the name ``Shaheed
Bhagat Singh College of Engineering & Technology`` as
a tribute to the great martyr Bhagat Singh, was established by the Government
of Punjab in 1995. The college is fully promoted by the Punjab Government
and is registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act
1860. Its affairs are administered by a Board of Governors. The College,
with its lush green campus spread over 98 acres is situated on Ferozepur-Moga
road, about four Kilometers away from the city.

The city, Ferozepur is situated on the Indo Pakistan
border. It is well connected by road and rail with important cities
like Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Delhi and rest of the
country.

|
The College is affiliated to Punjab Technical University,
Jalandhar (Punjab) and follows the semester system of Education. The
college is recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE),
New Delhi.
