| Eligibility Criteria | ||||
|
Candidate will be eligible to get
admission in this college if he/she has passed the 10+2 or its equivalent
examination conducted by a recognized board / university /council with
physics, mathematics, chemistry as compulsory subjects.In addition to
above subjects candidate must be required to pass in English also.To
get the admission in this you college you have to appear for the Combined
Entrance Test (CET) test being conducted by the Punjab Technical University
(PTU) Jallandhar. The admission to the different B.Tech courses will
be given on the basis of merit in the rank you will get in CET, as the
seats are limited.

There are also reserved seats for
NRI i.e. Who are not citizen of India. An additional 10%of sanctioned
strength intake in each course is admitted on the basis of a lateral
entry engineering test (LEET) conducted by PTU for the admission of
diploma holders in any engineering trade from Punjab State Board of
Technical Education, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering
& Technology or such examination from any other recognized State
Board of Technical Education. The candidate can get admission to the
same trade in which he got the diploma. He/she will get direct admission
to the 2nd year

The College offers Post Graduate programmes
in Environmental Science and Engineering & Industrial Engineering
along with MBA on part time as well as regular basis . These programmes
are being offered under the special scheme of PTU of establishing Regional
Centres for catering the needs of Technical manpower of this part of
the country.

its Regional Centre , for Post Graduate Studies , in the college w.e.f.
August 2003 .The aim of establishing PG Centre is to produce qualified
manpower in various disciplines through offering PG and Ph.D. programmes
