Right To Information (RTI)
|
| Any person who desires to obtain
any information under this Act shall make a request in writing or through
electronic means in Punjabi or English or Hindi. For this purpose he/she
will have to deposit application fee of Rs.10/- with the college. The
fee at the following rates shall be charged from the applicant for providing
the information demanded by him/her : |
- Rupees two for each page (in A-4 or A-3 size paper)
created or copied;
- Actual charge or cost price of a copy in larger
size paper;
- Actual cost or price for samples or models;
- For information provided in diskette Rupees 50/-
per diskette ;
- For information provided in printed form at the
price fixed for such publication or Rupees 2/- per page of photocopy
for extracts from the publication.

The information sought by any one
will be supplied as per the provisions of RTI Act, 2005.
|
- All citizens posses the right to information
- Information can be obtained within 30 days from
the date of request in a normal case.
- If information is a matter of life or liberty of
a person, it can be obtained within 48 hours from time of request.
- An appeal against the decision of the Public Information
Officer can be made to an officer who is senior in ra

| The following is exempt from disclosure
(S. 8) |
|
- Information, disclosure of which would prejudicially
affect the sovereignty and integrity of India, the security, strategic,
scientific or economic interests of the State, relation with foreign
State or lead to incitement of an offence.
- Information which has been expressly forbidden
to be published by any court of law or tribunal or the disclosure
of which may constitute contempt of court.
- Information, the disclosure of which would cause
a breach of privilege or Parliament or the State Legislature.
- Information including commercial confidence, trade
secrets or intellectual property, the disclosure of which would
harm the competitive position of a third party, unless the competent
authority is satisfied that larger public interest warrants the
disclosure of such information;
- Information available to a person in his fiduciary
relationship, unless the competent authority is satisfied that the
larger public interest warrants the disclosure of such information.
- Information received in confidence from foreign
Government;
- Information , the disclosure of which would endanger
the life or physical safety of any person or identify the source
of information or assistance given in confidence for law enforcement
or security purposes;
- Information which would impede the process of investigation
or apprehension or prosecution of offenders;
Cabinet papers including records of deliberations of the Council
of Ministers, Secretaries and other officers;
- Information which relates to personal information
the disclosure of which has no relationship to any public activity
or interest, or which would cause unwarranted invasion of the privacy
of the individual;
- Notwithstanding any of the exemptions listed above,
a public authority may allow access to information, if public interest
in disclosure outweighs the harm to the protected interests

Overall incharge of the college and
to co-ordinate between Director Technical Education and staff.
Supervise all the activityof college regarding teaching and
administration work. |

Faculty Incharge of Poly Wing is incharge
of Poly Wing. Faculty Incharge co-ordiante between the Principal
and HODs of Poly Wing and supervise all the academic activities
and ensure that all the
academic activities are performed as per AICTE / PSBTE&IT,
Chd. |
|
|
HOD is the Head of respective Department. HOD
superviseteaching and practical work in respective Department
also takethe lecture/practical as per AICTE norms and act as
a co-ordinate
between staff and Faculty Incharge, act as a co-ordinate betweenthe
students of the department and staff. |
|
|
In the absence of HOD, Sr. Lecturer supervises
the department and also takes the lecture/practical as per AICTE
norms and assist the HOD regarding departmental affairs. |
|
|
Lecturer takes the lecture/practical as per AITE
norms as allocated by the HOD and perform the other duties as
assigned by HOD/ Faculty Incharge/Principal or Govt. |
|
|
Lab technician maintain the equipment of the respective
lab and assist to perform the practical with respective teacher. |
|
|
Lab assistant assist the lab technician and teacher
for performing the practical and maintain the cleanness of the
equipment and lab. |
|
|
Workshop supdt. Supervise the all the activities
of the workshop and co-ordinate between various teaching department
and workshop. |
|
|
Foreman instructor act as a co-ordinater between
different workshop shops and workshop supdt. Check the record,
work done by students and report the matter to authorities. |
|
|
Instructors provide the practical knowledge to
students for respective shops of the workshop as prescribed
in the curricula |
|
|
Office supdt. Co-ordinate between
Faculty Incharge and administration office and assisting the
Faculty Incharge for all matters for functioning the college
and to check and control the
college record matters. |
|
|
Help the office supdt. Regarding the financial
matters and to check and maintain office record before being
check by the office supdt. |
|
|
Perform the duty assigned by the Faculty Incharge
/office supdt. to maintain and to complete the record of the
college for different departments/exam/accounts. |
|
|
To assist the Jr. assistant regarding
different matters pertaining to the college interest. |
|
|
They do all kind of typing work being
required in the interest of the college. Procedure followed
in the decision making process. |
Only that part of the record which does not contain
any information which is exempt from disclosure and which can reasonably
be severed from any part that contains exempt information, may be
